Quick look at the Rayvolf Yellow Special

The Tamiya 95338 Rayvolf Yellow Special is a compact Mini 4WD designed for racers who value a tidy build and predictable handling. Its form focuses on aerodynamic efficiency and practical tuning opportunities.

Shell Styling and Airflow

The bright yellow body is sculpted to guide air cleanly around the model, reducing lift and helping stability through faster sections. The profile is tailored for traction and straight-line calm.

Core MA Chassis Traits

Featuring the MA chassis, this kit uses a monocoque approach to keep the frame rigid while lowering the centre of gravity. The layout supports double shaft motors and is well suited to fine-tuning suspension and balance for tighter cornering.

Practical Upgrade Routes

To improve lap times consider stronger motors, stickier tyres and small weight changes. Adjusting the gear ratio and checking camber and toe settings will pay dividends on tighter circuits.

Specifications

  • Chassis Type: MA Chassis
  • Motor Compatibility: Double Shaft
  • Body Style: Aerodynamic Racing

This is my 3rd and largest order from RC Jaz so far and I have to say I've been very impressed with this store. Everything arrived in perfect shape and order, very well packaged and delivered quickly bearing in mind this had to come from the other sid
Yes, but you may need softer tyres or foam inserts to maintain grip. Fine-tune tyre choice and gear ratio to suit the increased rolling resistance of rubber surfaces.
Many MA chassis components are shared across Tamiya MA kits, making replacement parts like gears and shafts commonly available and easy to source.
Verify motor fit, gear mesh, wheel alignment and that the body mounts clear the chassis. Run a short test to ensure smooth gearing and to spot any binding before full use.
