Self-adhesive foam tape for model bodies

This HUDY 107871-S self-adhesive foam strip is supplied as a set of 2 pcs, each measuring 1x13x155mm with a nominal thickness of 1.0mm. It serves as a thin cushioning layer suitable for body mounting points and internal trim where a slim pad is required to prevent rattles and protect finishes.

The foam is broadly compatible with most R/C body shells and inner panels that accept adhesive strips. There are no chassis-specific compatibility claims, so confirm clearance and adhesion on your particular body style prior to final fitting.

Application is simple: remove the liner, position the foam along the intended edge or contact surface, press firmly to adhere, and trim off excess with a hobby knife or scissors. Apply gentle pressure to avoid moving paintwork and let the adhesive dwell time pass before heavy handling.

From an on-car tuning point of view the strip is useful to reduce vibration transfer, take up small gaps at mounting points for a neater fit, and prevent contact wear on painted areas. Because it is only 1.0mm thick it is best for subtle fitment tweaks rather than bulk cushioning.
