Usage Notes for RC Differentials

This Yokomo differential grease is made for RC-scale differentials and related gearbox parts. It is intended to fine-tune diff behavior by adjusting internal damping rather than altering mechanical parts.

To apply, place a thin, uniform coat on spider gears and mating bevel surfaces, and maintain light lubricant films on bearings or bushes as required. Avoid packing the case full; a small, evenly spread quantity gives the desired change in responsiveness.

As a tuning method, the grease moderates how quickly the differential locks under load, which affects traction distribution and cornering balance. Introduce changes gradually and run controlled trials to note effects on traction and steering.
