Small-scale detail moulding plate

This accessory is a compact plastic moulding plate featuring four cookie-shaped cavities, suitable for pressing modelling compounds and soft putty. Pack the compound into a cavity, allow the material to set as directed by its maker, then carefully remove the cast pieces for trimming and finishing.

Workshop application: ideal for producing repeatable trims and miniature props for interiors, instrument clusters, or scenic elements on scale builds. The plate handles soft modelling materials and the cast parts can be worked with standard scale-model tools after curing.

Finishing guidance: once cured, parts can be tinted or aged with compatible pigments and paints; the manufacturer notes Tamiya Baking Master pigments as an example. Rinse and dry the plate after use to prevent buildup and store it flat to protect the cavity edges.
