Team Associated RC18T/RC18R Precision Aluminium Motor Mount RC18-013/BU by 3Racing  [RC18-013/BU]

This aluminium motor mount is an RC-scale replacement made for Team Associated RC18T and RC18R chassis, supplied as part RC18-013/BU from 3Racing. It is intended to secure the motor firmly to the chassis and limit movement that can upset gear alignment under load.

Installation is simple for anyone used to 1/18 maintenance: remove the stock mount, align the motor spline with the pinion and spur mesh, fit the aluminium mount, then check clearance and tighten. Apply suitable thread-lock to metal fasteners where required and confirm the motor shaft sits parallel to the spur gear at final torque.

For setup and tuning, the mount supports consistent gear mesh and can reduce slop that affects efficiency and drivetrain response. After altering pinion size, shims, or motor position, double check spur engagement and the vehicle's throttle and braking response.
