Trumpeter 1:32 F6F-3 Hellcat Model Kit - Naval Fighter Replica

The F6F-3 Hellcat is represented here in a large 1:32 scale kit that highlights the aircrafts naval service and rugged design. The original Hellcat first flew in October 1942 and quickly became a mainstay of carrier air groups.

Service History and Flight Performance

The Grumman F6F-3 used the Pratt & Whitney R2800-10 radial engine rated at about 2000 horsepower. It could reach roughly 611 km/h and operate up to near 11,368 meters altitude. Production exceeded 4,400 by April 1944, including models sent to the British Fleet Air Arm.
