This is an aluminum front steering block produced as an upgrade for Yokomo RD/SD/MD series drift cars. The design separates axle shaft, steering block, and upper holder into discrete pieces so measured adjustments are possible without swapping a single-piece assembly.
Stacked shims can be used to modify trail and kingpin angle, letting you fine-tune geometry for varying track surfaces. The hard-anodized aluminum construction increases front-end stiffness over resin axles, resulting in sharper steering feedback and more distinct front tyre tracing during drifts.
Use of this part is targeted at hobby RC drift circuits and it is especially beneficial on tight, precision-demanding surfaces like P tiles and coloured concrete.
Experiment with the separated axle, steering block, and upper holder and iterate shim stacks to lock in a consistent alignment for your circuit. The aluminum option tends to sharpen steering feel compared with standard resin parts.
