Service pack for rear bulkhead shaft

This kit contains O-rings and countersunk aluminium washers intended for the rear bulkhead shaft of the Yokomo R12 touring chassis. Supplied as a small service kit, the components refresh sealing and seating where the shaft meets the bulkhead and are also suitable as option parts on related GT-series frames.

Intended strictly for hobby RC applications, the set helps with routine track and workshop servicing. The replacement parts address worn seals and restore correct washer seating, which supports consistent shaft alignment and reduces rear-end play.

The installation process is simple for those used to dismantling R12 rear sections: extract the old O-rings and washers, clean the contact areas, fit the new O-rings into the grooves, and press the aluminium countersunk washers into place so screws sit flush. No specialist tools beyond typical RC hand tools are needed.

Remark :

After fitting, rotate the shaft assembly by hand and inspect for even compression of the O-rings. Proper seating should produce a uniform seal without pinching or visible gaps.
The countersunk aluminium washers are designed to sit flush beneath screw heads when installed correctly, restoring correct clamp on shaft components and preventing protrusion.
