This 1/12 scale assembly model captures the Repsol RC211V '06 motorcycle with an emphasis on realistic external panels and engine detailing.
The Honda RC211V arrived in the early 2000s as a compact 990cc V5 four-stroke racing platform designed for the era's regulations. Campaigned by the Repsol Honda outfit through 2006, the RC211V combined a compact V5 engine configuration with a chassis optimised for fast road circuits. Subsequent regulation changes prompted new engineering directions in later years.
The kit reproduces signature 2006 RC211V elements such as the streamlined cowling shapes, triple-exit exhaust configuration, and the forward-positioned airbox. New moulded parts are included for the clutch cover and fuel tank, and the decal sheet supplies liveries for Daniel Pedrosa's No.26 and Nicky Hayden's No.69. Several body panels are secured with small screws to allow optional display of inner assemblies.
The example engine layout is modelled in detail and plated parts are provided for the frame and swing arm to elevate the visual finish. Cartograf waterslide decals are supplied for accurate graphics, and the set includes solid rubber racing slick tyres matching the machine's profile.
An accurate 1/12 assembly model that replicates the 2006 Repsol Honda RC211V exterior and engine layout, ideal for collectors and modellers focused on display accuracy.
