RP Ultra Front Spring — YZ Series Tuning

The Yokomo RP-103BKA front spring is a 1mm-longer hard-rate coil from the RP range, designed to give a firmer but still balanced front-end feel. It serves as a scale-style upgrade to alter front stiffness and improve initial turn-in without swapping shock hardware.

Designed to fit YZ-2 and YZ-4 buggies as well as YZ-2T trucks, the increased free length and harder rate reduce mid-corner roll and sharpen steering on grippy dirt for buggies and on artificial turf or carpet for trucks. When installing, check spring preload and try a slightly heavier shock oil or small preload change at the front to maintain overall balance after the rate increase.
