Overview of RP Ultra Shock Oil #40 (Red)

The RP Ultra series has been refined with closer viscosity intervals and an easy colour system so you can pick the right grade faster. This pack contains 40cc of silicone shock fluid rated at #40 and identified by red colouring for quick selection.

Use this oil inside standard RC shock absorbers to tune damping characteristics. Swapping to a heavier or lighter viscosity changes how the vehicle compresses and rebounds, so adjust gradually when dialing in handling balance.

Practical steps for fitting: fully remove the old oil, refill without introducing air pockets, then compress the shock shaft repeatedly to force out trapped air before resealing. Keep bottles sorted by their red marking during test sessions.
