S3001 Shell Replacement Guide

This pair of replacement halves fits Futaba S3001 servos and offers a direct swap when the original housing is cracked or fatigued. It serves to maintain correct alignment of internal parts and to protect electronics during routine servicing.

The item is intended specifically for S3001-class servos as indicated by the model designation; confirm your servo model before purchase. The kit contains the two main shell halves only; internal gears, bearings, seals, and fixing screws are not included and should be recovered from the original unit or purchased separately.

For installation: isolate power and remove the servo from the model, note the gear stack order and potentiometer orientation, carefully move the gear train and PCB into the new shells, then replace the covers and fasten the screws. Avoid stressing wiring or the potentiometer link to maintain neutral. Perform a neutral and travel check after assembly.
