This RC-scale cooling head is crafted for use with HPI Savage 25 chassis layouts. Thirteen fins increase the area exposed to airflow to help manage temperatures on nitro engine heads during extended running.
The heatsink acts as a tuning aid by changing thermal inertia and airflow interaction, which typically results in a gentler temperature climb and reduced short-term peaks under steady load. That gives tuners clearer feedback when refining needle settings or testing body cooling paths.
Fitting is straightforward for hobbyists familiar with nitro engines: remove the existing head, check clearance around the carburettor and stack, then slide the heatsink into position on the head. Verify there is no contact with the exhaust or neighbouring components and confirm a secure fit before operating. Run at low revs first to validate clearances.
Compatibility note: designed for Savage 25 engine heads; confirm head diameter and fin pitch before purchase. Intended for nitro RC use only.
