This hex adapter set is designed for linking wheel hubs to axles on AXIAL SCX10 II and UMG10 vehicles. Crafted from 6061 T6 aluminium, the adapters give a firmer metal interface compared with standard plastic hexes and are aimed at hobbyists running crawling or heavy trail tyre setups.

The adapters fit onto the axle and locate the wheel, secured with the included steel pins and stainless cap head screws. The configuration provides a low-profile flat hex at the front and a raised hex at the rear to suit the common hub and axle clearances used on SCX10 II-based builds. Use them to replace damaged plastic hexes or to stiffen the wheel mount for demanding terrain.

Installation guidance: remove the wheel and the existing hex, slide the aluminium hex onto the axle aligning the retention bore, then fit the supplied pin and cap head screw. Ensure a snug seating and confirm wheel runout before use. No motor or ESC modifications are necessary.

Tuning note: aluminium hex adapters reduce hub flex and can change steering feedback during slow climbs; adjust wheel offsets and suspension setup to maintain desired handling characteristics on the model.
