The Yokomo RPM-DX135TA is the DX1T-series 13.5T brushless motor tuned specifically for drift cars that operate on low-traction surfaces. Engineering attention was placed on delivering predictable traction and a smooth, linear throttle response so drivers can refine traction-in handling on surfaces like tile and coloured concrete used on short indoor and outdoor drift courses. The DX1T specification prioritizes torque and control over maximum rpm, and the motor uses stator and coil materials selected for that role, different from the Type R variant.

Its revised external case improves cooling efficiency and reduces heat sag that can erode steering consistency during extended drift sessions. Those thermal gains help preserve a consistent response across runs and make iterative tuning with gearing and ESC timing more reliable.

Mounting is standard for 1/10-scale touring and drift motor mounts that accept the listed rotor size; confirm pinion mesh and motor height on your chassis before final fitment. As a torque-oriented option, start with conservative gearing and a smooth throttle map to take advantage of its linear delivery, increasing rotational speed only if track grip allows.

It fits standard 1/10 motor mounts that accept the stated rotor dimensions, but double check pinion mesh and motor height on non listed chassis before securing.
