This kit supplies four Serpent 440160 ball bearings, each 6.35x9.5x3.2mm, intended as replacement parts for Mini Spyder MT hobby trucks. They replace worn bearings in wheels and drivetrain mounts to help restore free-turning performance and reduce slack where bearings are used.
Fitting is simple for experienced hobbyists: remove the affected wheel or part, extract the old bearing, and press the new bearing into position until it sits flush. Use the correct drift or press tool to protect bearing seals and the hub bore, and ensure the 6.35mm inner diameter matches the shaft before reassembly.
To keep bearings performing, avoid grit ingress, inspect periodically for side play or roughness, and apply a light bearing lubricant if required. A fresh set can cut drivetrain resistance and improve steering precision on compact monster truck models.
