The Serpent SRX2 Gen3 delivers a 1/10 electric buggy chassis aimed at serious club racers and tuners. Its layout provides a range of configuration options so you can tailor handling for corner entry, mid-corner grip and exits.
Tuning sits at the heart of this design, with a gear differential system that accepts different gear stacks for varied traction. The new insert system and narrow rear pivot options let you alter how the rear end transfers power and reacts to grip changes across 17.5, 13.5 or modified classes.
The updated suspension geometry, including front-mounted rear shocks, improves predictability on landings and during quick direction changes. Adjustable rear uprights offer multiple settings for track width, axle placement and roll centre adjustments to fine tune handling.
Components are designed to last while keeping precise feel. The bent-side chassis reduces unwanted flex and the steering package is beefed up with multiple Ackerman choices to match driving style, helping to maintain consistent steering feel under race loads.
The transmission is laid out for easy service and long-term reliability, featuring adjustable differential heights and heavier drive gears to better handle race stresses while minimising power loss through friction.
