The Serpent 600018 Cobra SRX8E is a competition-grade 1/8 electric buggy engineered for racers who demand a configurable platform. Developed with input from Billy Easton, it inherits proven suspension and differential designs from the 2016 Cobra SRX8 nitro sibling to keep handling predictable in race conditions.

7075 Chassis and Weight Balance

This model uses a hard-coated 4mm plate of 7075 T6 aluminium to form a stable base that still allows fine flex tuning. The non-symmetrical block layout with a long front centre shaft and a shorter rear shaft helps with cornering balance. The receiver box and combined speedo/servo mount are straightforward to access for quick setup changes.

Precision Suspension Components

Key suspension pieces are machined aluminium, including the C-hubs, uprights and shock towers. Large-diameter shocks fitted with competition springs and coated aluminium standoffs give consistent damping performance. The dual-insert arms accept top or bottom inserts and optional carbon inserts for track-specific setups.
