Race-Ready Rear Weighting for the SRX8

The Serpent 600838 Brass Upright Weights are a practical way to tune a Cobra SRX8 for lower traction layouts. These 15 gram brass inserts fit on the underside of the rear aluminium uprights and add concentrated mass to aid traction.

Targeted Mass for Improved Handling

Positioning mass low and rearward helps the buggy maintain rear traction by lowering the overall centre of gravity. On greasy or dusty circuits this added weight can make the SRX8 more composed through mid-corner and power-on exits.

Straightforward Installation on 7075 T6 Uprights

Installation is user friendly because the Cobra SRX8 uprights are machined from 7075 T6 aluminium and supplied with threads to accept these weights. A small amount of threadlock is recommended and the kit ships with the required bolts.
