Track tuned airflow with the Serpent 600840 wing

Designed by Billy Easton, the Serpent 600840 Wing Lexan HD With Gurney is made for 1/8 scale buggy and truggy setups that need reliable rear stability. Constructed from tough 1mm clear polycarbonate, the wing gains stability from large sideflaps plus seven integrated fins. The lowered side sections and added ribbing direct airflow into the side-dams to improve aerodynamic efficiency and increase downforce where it counts.

Interchangeable centre insert and gurney for set-up changes

An optional clear polycarbonate centre section is supplied and fixes to the main wing with two top screws and two wing button-screws for extra rigidity and downforce when selected. The included composite gurney attaches with four screws to further step up rear downforce for more demanding track conditions.

Simple install and complete hardware

The Serpent 600840 wing ships pre-cut and ready to fit, so only basic trimming or bolting is needed. All mounting hardware is supplied to keep installation quick and straightforward for club racers and weekend tuners alike.

Most of the time the wing fits as supplied, but you may trim small areas to match unusual body shapes or alternative mounting positions.
Use the centre section when you need more rear stability and consistent downforce through corners; leave it off for lower drag on faster layouts.
Yes, the composite gurney works with a range of wing angles to fine tune rear bite, so experiment with both angle and gurney height for the best balance.
Inspect mounting points and screws after each meeting and replace any cracked sections; clean with mild soap and avoid harsh solvents to preserve the polycarbonate.
