Robust front CVD option

The SSLA1280FHA front CVD drive shaft is an aftermarket unit tailored for TRAXXAS Slash 1/10 4x4 setups. It combines stainless steel 304 joint cores with an aluminium 6061-T6 body to improve corrosion resistance and reduce rotating weight on the front end.

Construction highlights include rust-resistant 304 steel at the joint cores and a thicker shaft profile than the factory piece to increase wear life. The machined aluminium housing accepts the joint assembly and comes in several colour finishes for tidy rebuilds.

Silicone O-rings are placed around the joint to cushion shock loads on landings and heavy impacts, while the pivot internals are housed within the shaft to limit exposure to dirt and strikes.

Hardware references list 3mm steel hex shims, M4x2.5x11 and 3x3 screws, and silicone O-rings; the 3mm hex shim is noted as optional for some wheel hex fits.

Fitting advice: change one side at a time to keep alignment, check spline and wheel hex engagement before final tightening, and verify there is no binding through the suspension travel after installation.
