This rear diff case is CNC machined from 7075 aluminium as a stronger aftermarket replacement for affected TRAXXAS 1/10 4WD models. The heatsink-style face helps move heat away from the gearbox area during demanding brushless runs or heavy torque loads.
Fitment and purpose: designed to replace the stock rear gearbox housing while maintaining the original differential and bearing alignment. The stiffer housing helps reduce flex during aggressive cornering or on uneven surfaces, making it useful when tuning diff oil or increasing drivetrain power.
Fitting notes: the kit includes the screws listed below. Installation requires careful gearbox teardown, safe transfer of the diff assembly, and reassembly with correct torque values. Recheck bearing positions and gear mesh before operating the vehicle at high power.
Part location: Rear gear box area
This 7075 alloy housing is a practical upgrade to stiffen the rear gearbox and stabilise handling when adjusting diff settings or fitting higher-power electronics on supported TRAXXAS 4X4 cars.
