Aluminium low centre adapter with hardened 32-pitch gearset

This upgrade from GPM swaps the factory gear interface on TRAXXAS SLASH 4X4 Low-CG models aimed at the 68086-21 version. It uses an aluminium adapter to keep mass low while fitting hardened steel spur and motor gears for steadier torque delivery under load.

The concept is to keep a low centre of gravity via the aluminium adapter and increase gear durability with matched 32-pitch steel gears. The kit ships with a 54T steel spur and a 17T steel motor gear to provide a fixed pairing that is compatible with the Slash 4X4 68086-21 build.

Use the following driven ratio references when selecting pinions: 54T with 15T = 1:3.600, 54T with 16T = 1:3.375, 54T with 17T = 1:3.176, 54T with 18T = 1:3.000, 54T with 19T = 1:2.842, 54T with 20T = 1:2.700. The supplied 17T pinion gives a balanced mix of punch and top speed for common Slash setups.
