This 6 piece axle housing kit is a CNC machined aluminium replacement for the plastic front and rear housings found on SMT10-scale models. Each part is produced to the original mounting and gear alignment so the existing axle internals can be used without modifying the gearbox layout.
Design details retained include the 4mm x 4mm service screw hole for faster oiling or lubrication of internal components, and screw positions sized for the included stainless steel fasteners. The 6061-T6 aluminium construction increases resistance to abrasion and impact from rocks and trail obstacles typical of scale monster truck running.
