This aluminium spur gear adapter is supplied with a 56T steel spur to suit selected AXIAL platforms. It serves as a straightforward replacement for the original spur and adapter, allowing a material swap without modifying the gearbox shell.
The kit ships with the small fasteners and a collar required to attach the adapter to standard pinions and spur setups. Fitting needs access to the gearbox and routine hand tools; verify pinion mesh and clearance before a run. The component is for model-level drivetrain tuning and repair only.
Contents included: 3x6 stainless steel button head screws (3 pcs), 4mm stainless steel lock nut (1 pc), Pellerin collars (1 pc), steel post (1 pc), plus the aluminium adapter and the 56T steel spur gear.
Fit the steel spur to change wear behaviour or replace damaged teeth; set mesh correctly and perform a short break-in before extended running.
