The Yokomo YS-7SA Soft O-ring provides a tight barrier to prevent oil escaping from your shock assembly. The clear, tough material resists track wear and is compatible with a wide selection of Yokomo DP and YD chassis.

Will the YS-7SA handle off road use?

The soft compound resists normal dirt and impacts from off road running, but inspect seals after heavy use or dusty sessions and replace if nicked.

Does colour matter for performance?

The clear finish is cosmetic; performance depends on material hardness and fit, not colour. Ensure correct part YS-7SA is used.

How often should I replace the O-ring?

Replace when you see cracking, flattening or persistent leaks. For regular club running check every few months depending on mileage.

Any installation tips to avoid damage?

Use a light lubricant on the shaft to ease the O-ring on and avoid sharp edges on shock retainers. Fit gently and do not stretch the ring excessively.
