Neat Magnet Solution for RC Bodies

Yokomo's ZS-016MG2 spare magnet set gives a neat, low-profile method to secure RC shells. It includes two magnet types to suit both sides of the mount: chassis-side units are 12 x 4 mm and the body-side units are 12 x 3 mm, each provided in pairs.

Fitting Notes

Make sure each magnet sits square and is flush with its mounting surface before final assembly. Correct placement keeps the body steady while allowing fast on-track access for battery or servo adjustments.

Do I need glue to keep them in place?

Often magnets press-fit or sit in a small recess; if your chassis or shell requires stronger retention, a drop of threadlock or a small dab of silicone will secure them.

Will they affect electronics under the body?

Strong magnets are typically placed outside sensitive components; keep them clear of compass sensors and choose mounting locations that do not contact delicate wiring.
