HL-150 spur for slipper-equipped drivetrains

This spur gear, Yokomo C-CQ0223A, is built as a service replacement for HL-150 style platforms that use a slipper drive. It carries 85 teeth at 48 pitch and is supplied to support maintenance and gearing changes on CE-HL150 based 1/10 4WD RTR monster trucks.

Fitment and role: tooth count and the 48P pitch control correct meshing with compatible pinions and the slipper assembly. Confirm pinion pitch and slipper hub acceptance before installing. Use the part when worn teeth appear or when you want to adjust final drive ratio for different terrain.

Installation notes: set proper mesh and backlash with the mating pinion, inspect the slipper clutch for wear before refitting, and mount the spur square to the gearbox output to prevent binding. Tighten mounting screws to the correct torque and verify free rotation at the bearings before running.

Compatible Models

  • CE-HL150 1/10 4WD RTR Monster Truck
  • HL-150 Supported Chassis
  • CE-HL150
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Service life depends on use, loads, and maintenance. Inspect teeth regularly for wear or chipping and replace when profile degrades. Running with correct backlash and clean bearings extends life.
Often yes, but verify the slipper hub accepts an 85T spur and that spline engagement and thickness match. Replace worn clutch pads or springs to avoid inconsistent engagement.
48P is the pitch specified for this part. Make sure any pinion you pair with it is also 48P to ensure correct tooth mesh and to avoid premature wear.
