The Serpent SER601354 front shock body serves as an RC replacement for the SRX8 Gen4 GP (SER600024) front shock assemblies. Crafted from machined aluminium with a hardcoated finish, it reduces internal bore wear where piston and shaft meet, helping the shock to perform consistently across multiple runs.

Fitting the unit requires opening the front shock, moving the internal pistons, seals and spacers into the new tube, and ensuring the same seal orientation and piston order as the original. Perform the work with standard shock tools and avoid introducing debris into the shock oil during the transfer.

From a tuning perspective, installing a hardcoated aluminium shock body protects the bore from wear and preserves piston sealing and repeatability when you experiment with damping changes. This component is aimed at front suspension robustness rather than changing spring or damper settings directly.
