This 18T motor pinion is intended for Team Losi Super Baja chassis and is supplied as SSB018T. Built from hardened steel #45, it is designed for electric motor drive use and not for any road vehicle application.

Swapping from the stock 19T to this 18T pinion alters the model's gear ratio and can be used to bias the vehicle toward quicker acceleration or a lower top speed, depending on other drivetrain choices. When fitting the pinion, make sure the motor mount is set to the hole marked 18T so the gear seats correctly on the motor shaft.

Material and fit notes: manufactured in hardened steel #45 for durability under motor load, the pinion engages with the spur and drive train at the matched mesh. Always check mesh and motor position after installation to avoid premature wear to either gear.
