Finished Ferrari FXX shell for 1/10 on-road models

This ready-to-run, pre-decorated 1/10 Ferrari FXX body is produced by Tamiya and supplied as a lightweight polycarbonate shell with decals and paint applied at the factory. It is intended as a direct visual upgrade or spare body, allowing hobbyists to skip paintwork and focus on mounting and setup.

The body is shaped for accurate proportions and is prepared for conventional trimming to suit common 1/10 on-road chassis. If your chassis has a shortened wheelbase or wider track, measure mounting positions and wheel clearance carefully before committing to final cuts.

This finished body offers a quick visual refresh or replacement for scale on-road projects, conserving hobby time while keeping a light, trim-friendly polycarbonate construction.

The factory finish is applied for appearance and basic wear resistance. It withstands normal handling but is not as robust as specialist racing coatings; avoid abrasive cleaning products to preserve the finish.
Lightweight polycarbonate offers good impact resistance for typical on-road use, but severe crashes can still crack or deform the shell; replace if structural damage affects mounting or wheel clearance.
Use a soft cloth and mild detergent solution, rinse with water, and avoid solvents that could attack the paint layer or polycarbonate substrate.
Proper trimming along designed cut lines should not weaken the body. Keep cuts neat and support the shell while trimming to prevent stress points that could propagate cracks.
Applying additional clearcoat is possible but test a small area first and choose products compatible with polycarbonate to avoid softening the underlying paint.
