Aluminium rear upright for TA05 tuning

This aluminium rear hub upright fits the Tamiya TA05 chassis and provides a fixed 3 degree rear inclination for chassis tuning. The light blue anodized finish replaces the original plastic carrier to deliver a firmer rear hub mount and more consistent suspension pickup points, useful when adjusting camber behaviour and roll transition.

Fitting the part is a direct swap for users familiar with TA05 maintenance: remove the stock carrier and refit using the chassis' existing screws and bearings. Typical hex drivers and sockets for TA05 assemblies are sufficient. After fitting, recheck rear camber and toe, and tighten mounting screws to the appropriate torque for aluminium hardware to avoid thread wear.

Used as a tuning component, the carrier will tighten rear stiffness and sharpen feedback through corners, which can change how the rear tyres load under acceleration and direction changes. Built for 1/10 scale TA05 touring car use on track or club runs.
