13T CNC alloy motor pinion for 1/14 Tamiya trucks

This 13T CNC alloy motor gear is produced as a single-piece upgrade for Tamiya 1/14 tractor trucks, with TRU013T crafted from 6061-T6 aluminium for use in RC motor and gearbox assemblies only.

Design overview: intended to work with both single-shaft and double-shaft rear gearbox configurations, the aluminium pinion replaces the stock plastic gear to add a more durable contact surface and extra protection for the drive train. The CNC process delivers consistent tooth geometry for reliable mesh under load.

Fitting and setup: the pinion installs in the motor housing and is sized for standard 13T pinion meshes on the listed Tamiya truck models; inspect your shaft arrangement prior to fitting. Upgrading helps limit plastic gear wear and steadies gearbox performance when carrying scale loads or towing trailers.

Included hardware and contents: 3x14 stainless steel button head screws - 8 pcs, 3x20 stainless steel button head screws - 4 pcs, and the alloy motor gear with mounting screw as supplied in the single-piece set.

Yes, the gear profile and bore are designed to suit both single and double-shaft arrangements used on the compatible models, though you should check for correct shaft spacing.
The kit includes stainless steel button head screws in two lengths (3x14 and 3x20) which are corrosion resistant for normal hobby use.
The gear tooth count is 13T, so fitment keeps the original ratio; the alloy material improves durability and mesh stability without altering the intended gearing.
