Refine Small-Scale Detail on the M551 Sheridan

The Tamiya 12687 - 1/35 M551 Sheridan Etching Parts & Metal Barrel Set gives model makers precise components to lift a Vietnam-era Sheridan model. Designed to match Tamiya's US Airborne Tank M551 Sheridan (item 35365), it supplies parts that sharpen the overall look of your kit.

Turned Barrel and Photo-Etch for Accurate Texture

This kit includes a turned aluminum gun barrel and two frets of photo-etched metal. The turned barrel recreates the 152mm gun/launcher profile without seam lines, while the etchings detail the anti-RPG net and engine grilles on the hull top for a realistic surface texture.

For Model Builders Focused on Authentic Detail

Collectors and modellers who prioritise historical fidelity will find these parts useful. The kit lets you present the Sheridan's defining elements with sharper, cleaner detail when finished.

Very good and efficient service and an extensive range of products at a very competitive price.
This set is intended for Tamiya's M551 Sheridan kit (item 35365). Other Tamiya armour kits have different fittings, so check dimensions before fitting.
Use a sharp hobby blade or photo-etch scissors, then file any remaining tabs gently with a fine needle file to avoid bending the fret.
The aluminum barrel is robust, but when gluing into a plastic mantlet use a small amount of epoxy or cyanoacrylate for a secure mount and alignment.
