First shown at the 1981 Earls Court Motorcycle Show, the Honda CB1100R stood out with race-derived styling, gold wheels and a bold red and white paint scheme. The production machine used a 1,062cc air-cooled 4-cylinder DOHC engine rated around 115hp, capable of roughly 220km/h.
The Tamiya 14008 kit captures those defining details in 1/12 scale, offering precise plastic parts for the engine, suspension and bodywork. The model features a steerable front wheel and synthetic rubber tyres with accurate tread patterns, while waterslide decals let you recreate the original livery.
