This 1/12 plastic assembly kit reproduces the Konica Minolta Honda RC211V '06 as a display-focused model within Tamiya's 1/12 motorcycle lineup.
The RC211V was built for four-stroke 990cc Grand Prix racing in the early 2000s, using a compact V5 engine and a chassis set up for fast circuits. The 2006 season closed out the 990cc era, and the Konica Minolta blue-and-white livery was one of the season's standout schemes ridden by Makoto Tamada.
The kit accurately models the external forms and service details of the 2006 Konica Minolta RC211V, including refined cowling lines, exhaust routing, and the airbox ahead of the tank. New mouldings are included for the clutch cover and fuel tank areas. Body panels are fastened with small precision screws to allow removal for internal display. A Cartograf decal sheet is included to ensure correct team markings.
A display-orientated 1/12 kit that prioritises external fidelity and accurate livery, suitable for experienced modellers and collectors.
