This plastic assembly kit renders the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR in 1/12 scale as a display-oriented replica, designed to highlight external detail and allow easy access to the covered areas for presentation purposes.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR signalled Kawasaki's return to four-stroke grand prix competition with a 990cc four-stroke powerplant. The project navigated initial development hurdles and moved forward through iterative updates and rider changes, including the recruitment of Shinya Nakano in 2004. The ZX-RR recorded strong finishes during the season, with Nakano securing the machine's top result of second place at the Dutch round.
Only confirmed kit features are listed. The kit captures the ZX-RR profile in 1/12 scale and uses precision-made fasteners so builders can open or close bodywork panels for display. The rear suspension includes a realistic nut fastener and the kit supplies a small wrench to aid assembly. Decals arrive as water-slide Cartograf sheets and the synthetic rubber slick tyres bear Bridgestone branding. Two race number options are included in the markings set.
An accurately styled static kit aimed at collectors and modellers who value external authenticity and the option to show mechanical detail via removable bodywork.
