This assembly kit reproduces the Yamaha YZR-M1 50th Anniversary U.S. Inter-Coloring Edition 46 at 1/12 scale and is intended as a display-focused project for experienced hobbyists.
The Yamaha YZR-M1 is a factory race bike developed for four-stroke competition in the early 2000s. The 2005 machines ran a 990cc inline-four four-stroke engine and featured changes to fuel tank placement and rear suspension mounting to aid mass centralization. That year also brought updates to braking systems and electronic controls. The distinctive U.S. Inter-Coloring livery reflects Yamaha team liveries used during the 2005 U.S. Grand Prix.
The kit recreates the 2005 specification YZR-M1 in the yellow and black Inter-Coloring finish. Finished dimensions are listed as 172mm in length and 56mm in width. The bodywork can be removed after build so inner detail is visible. The model reproduces the compact inline-four, twin-tube delta frame and rear suspension layout, and it ships with synthetic rubber tyres and Cartograf decals.
A precise scale rendition of the 2005 YZR-M1 in U.S. Inter-Coloring colors, ideal for collectors who prioritise display accuracy and removable body panels.
