This assembly kit in 1/12 scale reproduces the Yamaha YZR-M1 Valencia Edition No.46 as a static model, intended for builders concentrating on scale-accurate finish and presentation.
The YZR-M1's development emphasized smoother power delivery and improved handling during the early 2000s. The machine featured an inline-four engine layout, a reduced-profile fuel tank and a rear shock positioned to centralize mass near the crankcase. Improvements to chassis rigidity, braking systems and electronic torque control were part of its evolution. The Valencia Edition sports a distinctive white and red block livery from that era of Yamaha competition bikes.
The kit captures the frame and engine forms typical of the YZR-M1, including the twin-tube delta box frame and inline-4 engine block. Cartograf-printed decals are included to replicate the No.46 markings. After build, the front and side fairings can be removed to exhibit the engine and frame. Tires are supplied in synthetic rubber and the model arrives as multiple plastic components requiring painting and detailing work.
A detailed 1/12 scale interpretation of the Yamaha YZR-M1 Valencia Edition No.46 made for modellers and collectors focused on historical liveries and display accuracy.
