This assembly kit recreates the 2009 Yamaha YZR-M1 in 1/12 scale as a display-focused model, emphasising accurate external detail and the option to expose internal components.

The 2009 YZR-M1 run by the Fiat Yamaha Team produced an excellent set of results that season, including frequent podium appearances and multiple wins. The model seen in 2009 incorporated changes from the 2008 version to match updated tyre specifications, along with adjustments to balance, fuel management and engine tuning.

The set contains clear parts to expose inner sections and detailed external pieces. Side cowlings are removable so internal assemblies can be displayed after build, and vinyl tubing is provided to mimic brake and clutch lines. Cartograf water-slide decals and Bridgestone tyre markings are included for authentic finishing. Additional detail-up items like fork upgrades and a rider figure are available separately.
