The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is known for its striking engineering and track-inspired looks. Launched in 2014 at the Milan show, the model carries a lineage back to the 1971 750-SS/Mach IV (H2). Under the fairing sits a 998cc inline-4 engine aided by a centrifugal supercharger, producing roughly 200hp and housed in a distinctive trellis frame.
Tamiya's 1/12 rendition captures the Carbon edition introduced in 2017, which includes a carbon upper cowl and an uprated 205hp tune. The kit focuses on aerodynamic shapes and mechanical detail to deliver a convincing miniature of the full-size machine.
Key design cues such as the ram air ducts and single headlight are replicated for accuracy. Builders should expect delicate assembly work that, when completed carefully, produces a strong display model for shelves and cabinets.
