High Speed Tuning with Tamiya 15132

The Tamiya 15132 Special Ratio Gearing gives Mini 4WD racers a clear path to higher top-end speed via a 3:5:1 gear arrangement. It is tuned for Type 5, Zero and Super 1 chassis and works particularly well on models fitted with small diameter tyres, including Fully Cowled Mini 4WD cars.

Originally released as part of Tamiya's Grade Up Option Parts, this gear set has been brought back to meet the needs of competitive builders. The kit can be adjusted toward a 3.5:1 ratio from a standard 4:1, giving builders the option to trade acceleration for greater cruising speed; it is also compatible with Super FM and Super TZ platforms.
