Small adjustments make a big difference in Mini 4WD circuits. The Tamiya 15533 Mini 4WD Skid-Tape is intended to cut surface drag and stabilise speed without modifying the core chassis, so you can fine tune handling quickly between runs.
The tape uses PET for long life and low slip. At 80x120mm per sheet, the size gives broad coverage for underside protection. Applying it to bumpers and under-chassis areas helps limit friction losses during fast straights and technical sections.
Strategic placement reduces rubbing against the track so cars carry speed more smoothly. It also cushions landings, helping the machine recover after jumps and rejoin the track line with less time lost.
Make sure surfaces are clean and fully dry before applying the tape. Trim to suit tight corners or narrow bumper areas and press firmly to ensure the adhesive bonds well.
