Introduced in June 1979, the Honda CB750F became an important model in the evolution of sport motorcycles. Known for its combination of performance and styling, it quickly won a loyal following. The Tamiya 1/6 kit offers a close reproduction of the bike for modellers who value historical accuracy.
Honda created the CB750F partly to answer Kawasaki's Z line, adding more power and sporting looks. The machine featured a 748cc DOHC engine with four valves per cylinder and produced around 70 brake horsepower. Styling cues drawn from the CB900F and racing RCB machines helped the CB750F stand out.
The model includes faithful details such as the low handlebar setup, rear footrest placement and the double cradle frame. Builders will appreciate accurate air front forks, adjustable rear shock replicas, a racing-style front mudguard and true-to-life disc brake assemblies.
