The Tamiya Grasshopper Jr. mimics the lines of its 1/10 scale R/C ancestor with a compact single-seat buggy profile. The ABS body comes in white with signature green and red striping that evokes the original race look.

VZ Chassis Highlights

The VZ platform focuses on race-ready packaging, providing a light but robust base. Reinforcements are included around impact zones like the bumper and the rear stay mount to help withstand close racing. The chassis shell is molded in black ABS plastic.

Upgrade Path

The kit is designed to accept common Mini 4WD upgrades. It uses low-friction POM 620 plastic bearings to reduce drivetrain losses and runs a 3.5:1 fixed gear ratio. A Type 130 motor is supported for basic performance steps.
