The Tamiya 18611 Rayvolf brings a slim, clear polycarbonate body to the Mini 4WD PRO range while keeping construction durable and light. Built on the modular MS chassis with a detachable three piece format, the model uses a mid-ship motor position to improve weight balance and steering response on twisty sections.
This Rayvolf setup pairs the MS chassis with small racing wheels and tyres and a 3.5:1 gear ratio aimed at maximising straightline speed. It is designed to accept a type 130 double shaft motor to deliver reliable power. Note that two R6/AA/UM3 batteries are required but not included in the kit.
The clear, unpainted body is ready for polycarbonate paints, giving modellers freedom to create race ready liveries without harming shell flexibility. Builders can fine tune suspension, tyres and gearing to suit local tracks or display preferences.
