Compact Fully Cowled design of the Great Magnum R

The Great Magnum R continues Tamiya's Fully Cowled Mini 4WD tradition and nods to the "Let's & Go!!" series. Built on the FM-A platform, it combines an eye-catching shell with a front midship layout that favours controlled handling on technical layouts.

Chassis layout and on-track behaviour

With the motor positioned forward in the FM-A chassis, the centre of gravity shifts ahead to improve traction and cornering over uneven sections. The package includes a front skid bar plus four rollers; the rear rollers are 8mm thick to add roll stability at speed.

Personalising the build and compatibility notes

The black FM-A chassis works well with the supplied low-friction POM parts and a white-moulded body for contrast. Blue and white metallic stickers personalise the shell while fluorescent green A-spoke wheels and black low-profile tyres finish the aesthetic. The kit uses a Type 130 motor and a 3.5:1 gear ratio, and fits common Mini 4WD upgrade parts.
