Entered by Team Honda Racing, the Takata Dome NSX finished up being piloted by Ryo Michigami, commonly considered as Honda's ace driver, and rookie Takashi Kogure through 2005 Super GT period. The team obtained 2nd spot at Round 5 Motegi with their car running on a naturally-aspirated mid-mounted 3.5 liter V6 engine, but bad luck plagued the team and dashed their high hopes the summer season.
