This finished 1/12 scale motorcycle is released in Tamiya's Masterwork Collection as a display-oriented reproduction of the 2006 Kawasaki race bike.
The Kawasaki ZX-RR was Kawasaki's four-stroke racing prototype following the factory return in the early 2000s. The 2006 specification used a large-capacity inline four-cylinder engine and revised bodywork intended for top-tier circuit competition. During that campaign the bike recorded competitive qualifying and race results that included notable finishes for the factory entry.
The model is supplied fully finished with no assembly necessary. External shapes and race livery are reproduced to 1/12 scale, with surface definition accentuated by the paint and pad-printed markings. The inline-four engine casting is represented, and the exhaust mirrors the four-into-two-into-one layout of the original, including the etched AKRAPOVIC marking on the silencer. Tires are synthetic rubber for a realistic look, and a display racing stand is provided for static presentation.
A ready-to-display finished replica that highlights the bike's silhouette and surface detail, tailored for collectors and display model fans.
