The MOTUL AUTECH GT-R made a strong impression during the 2008 Super GT campaign, and this replica highlights the car that raced under Super GT 2009 regulations. The competition machine was powered by a 4494cc V8 DOHC engine with a transaxle layout, and its carbon-bodied, low-slung silhouette helped it post notable results. Michael Krumm and Masataka Yanagida were the drivers who delivered podium-level performances in early rounds.
Tamiya's 1/24 model captures the GT-Rs aerodynamic profile and signature MOTUL AUTECH livery with pad-printed accuracy. The assembled model is 200mm long and 86mm wide and features metal-plated roof parts for added realism. Photo-etched components replicate air-intake mesh and brake discs, a roll-cage boosts interior authenticity, and solid rubber slick tyres complete the track look. A clear display cover and base plate are included for presentation.
